📍 Location: Chennai🏢 Industry/Client: Oil & Gas (EPC Projects – Onshore/Offshore)📅 Experience Required: 19+ YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced HOD – Process Design Engineer to lead process design activities for a major EPC project in the onshore/offshore oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to guide a multi-cultural team toward successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of process engineers and designers.Drive the development of process engineering deliverables such as:Simulation, PFD, P&IDDesign basis & criteria, key philosophies (Isolation, ESD, Control, Relief & Blowdown, etc.)Flare & Blowdown studies/reportsPipeline flow assurance studiesEnsure compliance with international codes and standards.Handle critical process equipment (Gas compressors, Export pumps, Fired heaters, Heat exchangers/coolers, Utility system design, PSV sizing, etc.).Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.Perform man-hour estimation, resource planning, and team competency development.Coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams for smooth project execution.Tools & StandardsProficient in Aspen HYSYS (or similar simulation tools).Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, EN, and BS standards.Candidate Profile19+ years of experience in EPC / Engineering companies within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery projects.Prior experience in a leadership/HOD role managing multicultural teams.Strong balance of technical expertise and soft skills such as team leadership, performance management, and communication.📧 How to Apply:Interested candidates may share their updated CV to vaishnavi@provhr.in
