Job Description

As the Head of Delivery APAC, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end program and project delivery in the region. Your role will involve providing strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to ensure successful outcomes for large-scale software implementation projects. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and guide project delivery across multiple client engagements, aligning with business objectives. - Provide senior-level resolution for complex project-related issues. - Coach and mentor project managers and teams to achieve delivery targets in terms of scope, budget, quality, and timelines. - Proactively identify and mitigate project risks. - Implement Agile and other best-practice methodologies across all delivery functions. - Act as a bridge between project management and product teams to ensure alignment with the product roadmap. - Drive standardization through reusable project management tools and frameworks. - Lead continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Leadership & Team Development: - Lead, inspire, and mentor project management teams across APAC. - Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. - Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of project management talent. - Review project estimates, budgets, and forecasts to ensure delivery profitability. - Provide support for pre-sales initiatives and proposal development as required. Customer & Stakeholder Management: - Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients. - Ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. - Promote organizational products and solutions to customers and internal teams. Compliance & Governance: - Ensure adherence to internal governance, compliance, and quality standards. - Review solutions for architectural compliance and performance alignment. - Maintain compliance with organizational policies and project documentation standards. Qualifications: - Education: BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering or related discipline. - Experience: 20+ years overall, with a minimum of 15 years in leading large-scale implementation or delivery programs. - Proven experience in enterprise software delivery, SDLC management, and project governance. - Exposure to the software or utilities industry would be advantageous. Skills & Competencies: - Strong software project management and leadership expertise. - Excellent stakeholder and people management skills. - Deep understanding of SDLC processes and Agile delivery. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
