As the Head of Culinary Innovation & Kitchen Operations at Happy Gut Kitchen (HGK), your role will involve leading menu innovation, food quality, and kitchen operations to ensure the delivery of delicious, healthy, and scalable meals. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Culinary Innovation & Recipe Development:** - Create & refine unique, gut-friendly recipes balancing taste & nutrition. - Experiment with superfoods, probiotics, and functional ingredients. - Standardize meal production for efficiency, consistency & large-scale execution. - Stay updated on food trends & health-conscious innovations. - **Kitchen Operations & Food Quality Management:** - Oversee end-to-end meal prep, packaging & delivery standards. - Implement food safety & hygiene best practices (FSSAI compliance). - Optimize ingredient sourcing, cost control & inventory management. - Develop efficient workflows to minimize waste & maximize output. - **Team Leadership & Training:** - Train & mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques & nutrition-based cooking. - Establish scalable cooking processes for high-volume production. - Collaborate with nutrition & product teams to refine meal offerings. - **Customer Experience & Market Engagement:** - Analyze customer preferences & feedback to enhance meal quality. - Participate in live cooking demos, workshops & tasting events. - Work with the marketing team to create engaging food content. **Qualifications Required:** - **Experience:** 10+ years in culinary operations, food R&D, or the restaurant industry. - **Expertise in:** Food innovation, fusion cooking, nutrition-based meal development, scalable meal production, cost-efficient operations, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen management. - **Passionate about:** Healthy eating, food science, and culinary creativity. - **Location Preference:** Bhubaneswar-based or willing to relocate.
