Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Head of Copy Strategy to lead and elevate content initiatives across diverse sectors. This role involves devising and overseeing strategic, on-brand messaging tailored for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and communications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in content strategy and copywriting, a results-oriented mindset, and a proven track record in managing client relationships—especially with government or PSU organizations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client-Focused Copy Strategy

    : Develop customized copy strategies that align with each client’s brand, goals, and target audience. Create content frameworks for campaigns, websites, social media, emails, and more, ensuring a cohesive voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Client Engagement and Communication

    : Build and sustain strong client partnerships by understanding their business goals, providing strategic guidance, and delivering high-quality content. Conduct regular meetings to review progress and present refined copy strategies.
  • Creative Direction

    : Work alongside creative and design teams to ensure that all copy aligns with the overall campaign direction, brand voice, and visual elements. Provide creative direction for content development and maintain brand consistency across client deliverables.
  • Custom Content Development

    : Oversee the development of compelling content for a variety of client touch points including websites, blogs, social media, ads, press releases, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Campaign and Project Oversight

    : Manage the copy development process from concept to delivery. Ensure that all content is developed on time.
  • Scriptwriting for Movies & TVCs

    : Lead the development and creation of compelling scripts for movies, TVCs, and other video content. Ensure the tone, style, and messaging align with brand objectives and resonate with the target audience.
  • Trend Monitoring and Innovation

    : Stay updated on the latest trends in content marketing, and copywriting to provide clients with cutting-edge, relevant strategies. Offer innovative content solutions that give clients a competitive edge.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in content strategy or marketing is a plus.
  • Experience

    : Minimum of 12-16 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or creative services, with at least 8+ years in a client-facing leadership role. Experience working with external clients in an agency or consultancy environment is strongly preferred.

  • Strong expertise in developing content strategies and managing client accounts.
  • Proven experience leading a team of creatives to deliver high-quality, client-specific content.
  • Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and understand client needs.
  • Strong portfolio of work showcasing successful client projects across various platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with government, PSU clients
  • Ability to work with clients on developing long-term content strategies.
