Job Description

As the Head of Business Strategy & Sales, your role will be crucial in shaping the organizational structure, driving business growth, and leading the sales and client relations function. You will need to combine strategic foresight with hands-on execution to build teams, develop business models, foster client relationships, and ensure long-term scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement an efficient organizational structure to support growth and operational excellence. - Establish clear team hierarchies, roles, and accountability systems. - Build a high-performing sales and strategy team through recruitment, training, and mentoring. - Set departmental KPIs, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement. - Develop internal workflows and coordination mechanisms to enhance communication and collaboration across departments. - Work directly with the Founders/Leadership to define and execute the long-term vision, goals, and business roadmap. - Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend mapping to identify new business opportunities. - Translate business insights into actionable strategies to improve market positioning, profitability, and client satisfaction. - Design annual and quarterly strategic plans, including revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, and expansion plans. - Implement strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability across all business functions. - Build, lead, and manage the entire sales function from lead generation to deal closure. - Develop data-driven sales strategies, targets, and incentive structures. - Establish systems for tracking pipeline performance, conversion metrics, and client acquisition costs. - Personally engage in high-value pitches and negotiations with potential clients. - Collaborate with marketing to align brand communication and lead generation campaigns with sales goals. - Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and business verticals to accelerate growth. - Act as the strategic point of contact for key clients, representing the company in client meetings and presentations. - Deeply understand client needs and industry dynamics to propose tailored solutions and retain long-term relationships. - Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, decision-makers, and strategic partners. - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, renewal, and advocacy. - Oversee client onboarding, feedback collection, and performance reporting systems. - Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and creative/technical teams to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables. - Translate business and sales strategies into actionable projects across teams. - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. - Collaborate with HR to create performance frameworks and incentive programs that promote excellence and retention. - Establish robust reporting mechanisms for tracking KPIs, revenue progress, and team efficiency. - Prepare detailed business performance reports and present insights to leadership for decision-making. - Analyze data to forecast sales trends, monitor progress, and identify potential challenges early. - Continuously assess strategy effectiveness and make data-backed adjustments when needed. Desired Profile & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or Strategy (MBA preferred). - 8+ years of experience in business development, sales strategy, or organizational leadership roles. - Proven ability to build and lead sales teams for measurable revenue growth. - Strong grasp of business strategy formulation, operations scaling, and client lifecycle management. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Analytical and data-driven mindset with strategic problem-solving capabilities. - Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities. - Ability to translate vision into actionable plans and tangible results.
