Head of Business Development

You are a seasoned professional with a technical or MBA background in Marketing or Business Development, having accumulated over 10 years of experience in Industrial Products Marketing. In this role, your primary responsibility is to identify new growth opportunities and oversee the expansion of new business ventures. Your key responsibilities include developing and executing growth strategies to uncover new opportunities and drive business growth within a specific market segment or region. You will utilize market research and local insights to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities, guiding the strategic evaluation process following Design Thinking principles. Moreover, you will be instrumental in formulating and implementing go-to-market strategies for new product lines and setting clear growth targets and KPIs for various departments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales Management, and New Business Development Specialists is essential for analyzing market potential and tracking sales performance. You will foster a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging creativity and new initiatives in product development. Additionally, coaching and mentoring sales teams and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects will be part of your role. Participation in growth workshops, exploring new market applications, and developing comprehensive marketing plans for the dealership's products and services will be critical for success. Maintaining strong customer relationships, demonstrating a growth mindset, integrating customer perspective, articulating value propositions, and managing budgets effectively are key competencies required for this role.
