Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Administration, located in Ahmedabad. The Head of Administration will oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring compliance with health policies, managing administrative staff, and improving operational efficiency. The role also involves handling budget planning, developing strategic plans for hospital growth, supervising facility management, and ensuring excellent patient experience. The candidate will work closely with medical staff and department heads to achieve organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities:

Overall Hospital Administration & Healthcare Management:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring all departments run smoothly and in line with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Oversee the entire

    patient journey

    , from admission to discharge, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the hospital's overall performance and operational efficiency.


Financial Acumen & Business Performance:

  • Monitor daily financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track revenue and expenses.
  • Analyze and optimize revenue streams, focusing on

    OP (Outpatient) to Lab/Radiology/Pharmacy conversions

    .
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities to improve the hospital's financial health.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.


Patient Service & Experience Excellence:

  • Champion a culture of

    service excellence

    across all departments.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of patient grievances and feedback.
  • Oversee

    Food & Beverage Services

    and other patient care support services to ensure high standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Initiate

    new initiatives

    and programs to continuously improve the patient experience.
  • Track and analyze patient feedback and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

    to identify areas for improvement.


Stakeholder Relations & Engagement:

  • Liaise with government authorities

    , regulatory bodies, and local communities to ensure compliance and maintain a positive reputation.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with

    doctors

    , clinicians, and other medical professionals to ensure their engagement and support.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of administrative and support staff.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Education:

    Bachelor's or master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.


  • Experience:

    Proven experience in a senior administrative role within a hospital or healthcare setting.
