Job Description

The Head of Marketing and Sales will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic marketing, business development, and sales leadership in the highly competitive liquor packaging segment. The role demands strong industry knowledge, understanding of B2B sales, and the ability to manage key accounts and explore new market opportunities, especially with liquor manufacturers, bottlers, and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement long-term marketing and sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the liquor closures sector.
  • Drive brand positioning and differentiation in the B2B packaging segment.

Sales Management

  • Lead national and export sales for plastic liquor caps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with liquor companies, bottlers, and OEMs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead generation to closure and post-sales service.
  • Define and track sales KPIs, targets, pricing strategies, and profitability margins.

Marketing & Branding

  • Create product awareness and promote innovative closure solutions (e.g., tamper-evident, sustainable caps).
  • Plan and execute B2B marketing initiatives (trade fairs, digital campaigns, packaging expos).
  • Develop product brochures, technical content, and customer presentations.

Product & Market Development

  • Collaborate with R&D and production to develop customer-specific cap solutions.
  • Identify and launch new cap variants based on liquor packaging trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and customer satisfaction surveys.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor the marketing and sales team.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Interface with external vendors, advertising agencies, and industry bodies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of liquor industry packaging standards and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in closures or rigid packaging.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and digital marketing tools.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging Technology, or related field.
  • MBA in Marketing / Sales (preferred).

Experience Required:

  • 5-6 years of experience in marketing & sales.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in plastic packaging, closures, or liquor industry supply chain.

KPIs / Performance Metrics:

  • Revenue and profitability growth.
  • New customer acquisition and retention.
  • Product penetration and market share.
  • Brand visibility in target markets.
  • Innovation adoption and product diversification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
