Role Overview

The Head of HR will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's mission and growth. This role requires a balance of strategic foresight, operational excellence, and strong people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead team to design and execute people strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Drive organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning to support scaling.
  • Champion the companys culture, values, and employee experience.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead recruitment strategies to attract top talent across tech, product, content, sales, and operations.
  • Build strong employer branding initiatives to position the company as a preferred employer in the EdTech space.

Performance Management & Learning

  • Implement performance management systems that promote accountability and growth.
  • Oversee Learning & Development programs to upskill employees and support career progression.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain robust HR policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with Indian labor laws.
  • Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and HR technology platforms.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Implement engagement surveys, recognition programs, and initiatives to improve retention and satisfaction.
  • Should be able to understand and execute working with remote working employees,

Compensation & Benefits

  • Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with market standards.
  • Advise leadership on pay equity, incentives, and long-term retention strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or related field from a reputed institute.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in tech-driven or fast-scaling companies.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance.
  • Proven track record in building HR systems, scaling organizations, and driving culture transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
