Job Description

As a Fraud Risk Management & Control specialist, your role involves focusing on processes to mitigate fraud risks, implementing internal controls, driving automation solutions, and providing timely reporting to stakeholders for all liability and digital products in the bank. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategy and Planning:** - Implement strategies for fraud prevention, early detection, investigation, transaction monitoring, responding to LEA notices, and regulatory reporting. - Create a clear road-map considering industry trends on business & frauds. - Ensure systems, people, and processes are adequately prepared to prevent and detect frauds effectively. - Ensure timely reporting of fraud cases and responding to LEA notices within regulatory defined TAT. - **Policies, Processes & Procedures:** - Establish fraud control and transaction monitoring policies that clearly define the responsibility of the unit. - Regularly review and modify processes in line with prevailing standards. - Refine department procedures and reporting continuously. - Establish a Fraud Risk Management Policy and framework for various business units. - Assess fraud detection tools, their effectiveness, and improve fraud identification and mitigation processes. - Collaborate with other business lines for fraud risk mitigation. - Provide support to leaders and managers, develop team goals, standards, policies, and procedures. - Implement Enterprise Fraud Risk Management system and fraud scenarios based on risk assessment. - **People Management:** - Educate, train, and develop the team to identify and report suspicious activities effectively. - Attract, retain, and develop talented fraud professionals. **Qualifications Required:** - MBA / CA with a minimum of 20 years of experience. - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Fraud Control function with a focus on Retail Banking. - At least 5 years in senior or leadership positions overseeing fraud strategy and teams. - Strong leadership skills to build and mentor high-performing teams and foster collaboration with various stakeholders. This role requires someone with a strong background in fraud risk management, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to effectively mitigate fraud risks in the banking sector.,
