Job Description

Facilities Head is a critical role and will ensure that physical infrastructure and operations consistently support the organizations strategic objectives and operational efficiency.

Role & responsibilities

  • Develops and implements

    long-term facility management strategies

    that are meticulously aligned with the overarching objectives.

  • Candidate will be responsible for

    creating, managing and monitoring annual operating budgets

    for all

    facility-related expenses

    , actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for cost savings and enhanced

    operational efficiency.


  • All

    capital improvement projects

    (CIPs) ensuring their completion within established

    timelines

    and

    budgetary limits.

    This also includes conducting thorough analyses of lifecycle costs for critical equipment and building systems to inform strategic investment decisions.

  • Will be

    responsible for P&L of the managed portfolio

    .

  • Person will

    manage relationships

    with

    external vendors

    and service providers, meticulously

    negotiates contracts,

    and rigorously monitors

    service level agreements

    (KPIs) for essential services such as Critical Infrastructure maintenance, Soft services, etc. thereby ensuring optimal performance and value.

  • Ensuring that all facilities strictly comply with

    health, safety, and environmental regulations

    and are compliant to local

    statutory regulations.


  • Candidate will extend all necessary supports to Design & Construction Teams for significant initiatives including new fit outs, major renovations, expansions, and new construction projects, coordinating progress and ensuring full compliance with all relevant requirements.

  • Need to ensure that all team members, including extended teams are completing the assigned training as per schedule and mentoring, and supervising facility management staff and contractors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

  • Manages optimal space utilization, plans for future facility needs, and oversees the strategic selection and provision of new furnishings, fixtures, and equipment to meet evolving operational requirements.

  • Will serve as RES primary point of contact for all internal business units, adeptly understanding their specific needs and translating these into practical and effective facility solutions.

  • Prepares and presents comprehensive reports on facility performance, budgetary status, and project progress to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Should have 15 + yrs of relevant experience from facilities management background .

  • Leads and directs a team of professionals.

  • Should have excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.

  • Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning.
