Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef based in Mangaluru. The Head Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, and developing new recipes and menus in line with the company's standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, and collaborating with management to improve productivity and efficiency within the kitchen.

Qualifications

Culinary skills including recipe development, food preparation, and plating techniques.
Proven leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
Expertise in inventory management, menu planning, and cost control.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and quality control processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
Prior experience in large-scale food manufacturing or bakery operations is an advantage.
Creativity and passion for culinary innovation are highly desirable.
