As our new Senior Engineer– FLS, Buildings you will be part of our global High-Rise department, Ramboll’s dedicated team of high-rise experts which have designed over 150 tall building projects globally, including some of the most technically challenging. You would be responsible in coordinating with project managers, and/or engineers for FLS work in the High-Rise department in Mumbai and supporting the global department which also has offices in Copenhagen, Dubai and Singapore. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Review of architectural and firefighting plans in accordance with applicable fire & life safety codes (i.e., NFPA, Saudi Building code, UAE Fire code) Preparation of fire & life safety strategy reports and provision of proactive advice to clients regarding design compliance Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking the required review services Ensuring a high level of communication both verbal and in writing Management of individual projects to ensure each of the necessary deliverable required by clients are met Ensuring a thorough understanding of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, UAE Fire code, Saudi Fire code and each of the relevant design standards such as NFPA 13, 14, 72, 92 etc Use of all necessary architectural and design software (CAD, Bluebeam) Experienced in CFD modelling and smoke management Qualification Must possess with 8 years of professional experience as fire & life safety engineer out of which minimum 5 years should be in Middle East Projects.
