About the Bullet Train Project

High-Speed Rail (Bullet Train)

Position: Safety Engineer (K4 Level)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at site.
  
• Implement and audit site-specific safety plans, particularly in elevated and underground metro construction zones.
  
• Oversee safety protocols during

  heavy lifting and tandem lifting

  operations.
• Coordinate with construction, design, and contractor teams to promote a culture of safety.
  
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks regularly.
  
• Maintain accurate safety records and reporting systems.
  
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards and project-specific requirements.
  
• Participate in safety training and awareness programs across teams.
  

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

  with

  minimum 3 years

  of relevant experience

  OR

  Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

  with

  minimum 5 years

  of relevant experience.

Experience Must-Haves:

• Experience in

  elevated metro or underground metro

  construction is

  mandatory

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  heavy lifting

  and

  tandem lifting

  safety supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices, HSE regulations, and risk management.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  
• Should possess good communication skills in English and Hindi.
