Job Description:

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join our inverter product development team. The engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing electronic hardware for solar, industrial, and consumer-grade inverters. This role requires strong expertise in power electronics, circuit design, and compliance standards, ensuring our products deliver efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circuit & PCB Design
  • Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for inverter control and power stages.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).
  • Power Electronics Development
  • Design and optimize DC-DC converters, H-bridge inverters, and MPPT controllers.
  • Work with high-voltage and high-current circuits ensuring thermal and EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Conduct prototype validation, debugging, and reliability testing (thermal cycling, surge, harmonic distortion).
  • Ensure compliance with BIS, IEC, MNRE, and other relevant standards.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and test reports for certification and audits.
  • Support statutory compliance in procurement and production workflows.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with firmware/software engineers for seamless hardware-software integration.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and vendor teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
  • Innovation
  • Research emerging inverter technologies (hybrid inverters, battery storage, grid-tie systems).
  • Propose design improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. (B.Tech/M.Tech)
  • 3–5 years of experience in hardware design for power electronics/inverters.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong knowledge of inverter topologies, switching devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs), and control systems.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards: BIS, IEC, MNRE, CE, FCC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
