Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Specialist to join our global IT Asset Management team. This remote role supports UK operations and requires working in the UK shift. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in managing hardware assets across enterprise environments, ensuring compliance, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the hardware asset inventory across global locations.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware assets: procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure asset compliance and cost control.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of hardware assets.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO).
• Generate reports and dashboards for asset tracking, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Support hardware refresh and disposal initiatives in collaboration with vendors.
• Handle asset-related incidents and service requests using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Mentor junior asset analysts and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Hardware Asset Management in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices and asset lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Lansweeper).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work in UK shift hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with global asset management standards and compliance frameworks.
