At PwC, our team in business application consulting specializes in providing consulting services for various business applications to help clients optimize their operational efficiency. We analyze client requirements, implement software solutions, and offer training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications. As a Guidewire developer at PwC, your focus will be on developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, which is a software suite that offers tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. In this role, you will be expected to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and navigate complex situations. You will deepen your technical expertise, enhance your personal brand, and anticipate the needs of your teams and clients to deliver high-quality work. As a Senior Associate in the Business Application Consulting team at PwC, you will play a key role in analyzing client requirements, supporting testing and client queries, and building meaningful client relationships. You will engage in scrum calls, provide status reports, and participate in activities such as CoE initiatives, trainings, and recruitments. Your responsibilities will also include hands-on experience with Guidewire products, strong knowledge in Guidewire platform features, expertise in web services and databases, as well as experience in SCRUM Agile methodologies. To be successful in this position, you must possess sound knowledge of software architecture and design patterns, estimation, team leadership, code review, and mentoring skills. Experience in Guidewire implementations, Thunderhead/MuleSoft integration, SCM tools like GIT/SVN, and exposure to cloud technologies are advantageous. Proficiency in property & casualty insurance domain, skill in Guidewire product suite, and ability to build and maintain client relationships will set you apart in this role.
