Guidewire Policy Center Developer

As a Guidewire developer at PwC, your role will involve focusing on developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform. This platform offers tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing for insurance companies. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing software solutions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, and test software solutions using the Guidewire platform - Collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment - Engage with different clients and team members - Take ownership and deliver quality work consistently - Drive value for clients through your work - Gather information, analyze facts, and uphold professional and technical standards - Build commercial awareness and understand how the business operates Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with Guidewire products in PolicyCenter - Strong knowledge of the Guidewire platform - Familiarity with Webservices, XML, and database management - Experience in SCRUM Agile methodology - Sound knowledge of software architecture and design patterns - Team leadership skills and experience in Guidewire implementations Desirable Skills: - Thunderhead or MuleSoft Integration experience - Exposure to SCM tools like GIT and DevOps - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure - Proficiency in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain - Ability to build and maintain client relationships - Evaluate solutions effectively and contribute to training initiatives Please note that as part of the Business Application Consulting team at PwC Acceleration Centers, you will have the opportunity to support various services such as Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services.
