Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gurgaon for a Guidewire PC Configuration Developer. The role involves configuring and customizing the Guidewire PolicyCenter application to meet client requirements. Daily tasks include coding, troubleshooting, implementing software solutions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize system integrations. Candidates will help ensure efficient software development processes while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Job Description :

•           Ability to implement Guidewire products state rollouts for BillingCenter/PolicyCenter

•           Ability to provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support

•          understand the exact Client Business Needs check the technical Feasibility to achieve the requirements and then communicating the same to Offshore team

•           Hands on experience to invest 45 hours of time for PC/BC development work for release for both configuration and Integration

•           Offshore Coordination for resolving production Incidents

•           Review the Offshore Development work in Areas of PCF Configuration Business Rules and Data Model Creation

•           Managing and communicating team status to Management

•           Technical support for Guidewire Policycenter/ BillingCenter in production

•           Coordinating with team to analyzed defects

•           Coordinate with other service provider and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and running

Technical Skills:

•           Guidewire Policycenter/BillingCenter experience for implantation and state rollouts changes

•           Strong knowledge of Policycenter/ BillingCenter Configurations such as Customizing the billing methods configuring invoice structure and functionality Delinquency workflows Customizing Cancellation Reinstatement Disbursement logics Commissions Customizing and Scheduling Batch Process etc.

•           Experience working with SQL Server or DB2 database

•           3rdparty platform integration

•           Application Servers such as Web sphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS J2EE application containers

Must Have:

•  Must have 4 to 7 years or above hands-on work experience Guidewire Policycenter/ BillingCenter modules

•           Hands on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration

•           One complete end to end implementation experience

•           Development experience with Guidewire Gosu proprietary code

•           Development experience with Guidewire APIs methods rules and processes

•           Web services i.e., WSDL SOAP XML REST

•           Certified Guidewire Policycenter/ BillingCenter professional

•           Experience with REST Soap web services is a plus

•           Experience with various code versioning systems such as SVN

•           Ability to multitask and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
