Guest Relations Manager

Role Overview: As a Guest Services Manager at the property, your main responsibility is to support all property operations to ensure the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. You will manage the flow of questions and direct guests within the lobby, as well as support the tracking and resolution of service issues. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage team members - Advocate sound financial/business decision making and demonstrate honesty/integrity - Supervise and manage employees, understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in their absence - Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality, standards, and meeting customer expectations - Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work - Support projects and policies related to guest experience and safety, including implementing customer recognition/service programs and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures - Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention - Conduct human resource activities such as identifying developmental needs of others, coaching, mentoring, and assisting in hiring employee team members - Perform additional responsibilities such as analyzing information, maintaining strong working relationships with all departments, and participating in the investigation of employee and guest accidents Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required Note: Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and actively fosters an inclusive environment where the unique backgrounds of associates are celebrated.
