Role Overview

We are seeking a Guest Experience Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome, host, and interact with guests throughout their stay, ensuring they feel at home.
• Being a great host, to reflect the warmth and style of Jalakara.
• Create and coordinate experiences — dining, excursions, wellness, or cultural immersions — tailored to guest preferences.
• Anticipate needs and resolve guest concerns with empathy and initiative.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to deliver thoughtful dining experiences.
• Maintain detailed guest preference records for repeat visits.
• Support pre-arrival communication and assist with reservations to ensure seamless coordination.
• Train and guide junior team members in guest service etiquette.
• Assist the management with guest feedback, reporting, and day-to-day guest operations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in guest relations, front office, or service roles within luxury/boutique hospitality.
• A warm, engaging personality with strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a natural instinct for hosting and anticipating guest needs.
• Ability to adapt to a remote, boutique property environment.
• Passionate about delivering experiences that go beyond standard service.
• Ability to work with a team that is primarily from the local community.
