Reservations Assistant

You will be joining a boutique, private villa hotel located in the heart of Havelock Island, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. With a focus on offering homely and bespoke experiences with small hotel service, Jalakara invites guests to disconnect from the digital world and immerse themselves in tropical surroundings, delicious food, swimming, massages, and more. As a Reservations Assistant based in New Delhi, you will be responsible for managing reservations, interacting with guests, providing top-notch customer service, and supporting sales activities on a full-time, on-site basis. Collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth guest experiences and maintaining accurate reservation and inquiry records will be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should have experience in managing reservations, possess strong communication and customer service skills, be proficient in phone communications, and have familiarity with Google Sheets. Working effectively in a team-oriented environment, fluency in English (additional language skills are a bonus), knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills, and ideally, previous experience in the hospitality industry are all desired qualifications for this role.
