Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, GSTR-9, etc.) within statutory timelines.
Reconcile GSTR-3B with GSTR-2A/2B and GSTR-1 to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Perform GST reconciliation with books of accounts to ensure accuracy in tax data and reporting.
Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) validation and ensure compliance with applicable GST laws.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to track missing invoices, mismatches, and unclaimed credits.
Maintain accurate GST records and support audit, assessment, and scrutiny proceedings.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to ensure timely and error-free GST compliance.
Monitor changes in GST regulations and ensure organizational adherence to updated laws.
Assist in data mapping and validation during system upgrades or GST software migrations.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or CA Inter.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in GST return preparation, filing, and reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and filing portals (GSTN, offline tools, etc.).
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
