Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  1. GST Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and submission of GST returns.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in GST laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to verify GST compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all GST-related transactions.
  • Reconcile GST accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate and analyze reports to ensure the accuracy of GST data.
  1. Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for GST filings.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff members on GST compliance matters.
  1. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to GST compliance and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and proactively implement measures to minimize compliance risks.
  1. Communication:

  • Communicate with tax authorities, responding to inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact for GST-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Policy Development:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of GST policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  1. Training and Development:

  • Stay informed about changes in GST laws and regulations and provide training to relevant personnel within the organization.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements in GST compliance software and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification of CA with experience
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in GST compliance and related accounting functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and GST compliance tools.
