Job Description

As a Growth Marketer at Astra, you will play a crucial role in taking our cybersecurity products, including DAST, API Security, and Cloud Security Scanner, to the next level through organic channels. Your main focus will be on driving organic growth for these products, enhancing product launches, and creating compelling narratives to increase user sign-ups. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the growth team to launch new products, build product awareness, and engage with users across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving organic growth for DAST, API & Cloud products, with a key focus on increasing user sign-ups through organic channels. - Collaborating with the growth team to co-own product launches and drive the organic motion from initial launches to customer stories. - Crafting engaging product storytelling and creating use cases across social, email, and community platforms. - Establishing consistent product awareness through high-quality social content, use-case videos, referral strategies, and collaborations with micro-influencers. - Developing email drips to encourage trial sign-ups and product usage, especially for products that are currently under-marketed. - Working with the development team to launch free tools or lead-generation projects and explore listings on major cloud platforms and compliance platforms. - Organizing webinars, events, and topical moments to generate interest and convert curiosity into users within the community. Your success in this role will be measured by: - Organic sign-ups for DAST, API Security Platform, and Cloud Security Scanner. - Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) from Organic Social and new channels, with a focus on exploring and scaling these avenues. - Enhancing product discovery and go-to-market execution for products that are currently under-marketed. - Increasing top-of-funnel reach and engagement through organic efforts such as social media, email campaigns, and community engagement. To excel in this role, you should have experience in launching products with limited budgets, a focus on outcomes, a knack for turning ideas into traction, and a passion for storytelling. While a background in cybersecurity is beneficial, it is not a requirement. Additionally, if you have previous experience in launching products on platforms like Product Hunt or have built growth through innovative strategies like microtools and influencer collaborations, it would be considered a bonus.
