The objective of this role is to transform the company, support in its S4H journey, able to handle business priorities with ease and to prepare it for the future. This transformation includes new global governance, new ways of working and the implementation of digital business services for the product Non-conformity and Data.
This role is part of the Information Management (IM) function and is responsible for the day to day management of the Quality team of Non-conformity & Data products, which is located within IM Global In-house Center (GIC). Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams.
As a Group Manager, it is expected that you are passionate about people management and delivery and service excellence, with a strong understanding and respect for Airbus values. You will work closely with the Product manager of your perimeter in order to:
Conduct People Management activities for Airbus India employees
Ensure fruitful and efficient collaboration with the Product Manager .
The Group Manager position may not be a full time role and can be completed by another role (such as ITOps, Application Manager, Project manager, Product Owner, Service Delivery Manager ). This is defined case by case by with the functional and hierarchical managers of the Group Manager.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Post Graduate with 13+ years of experience with following criteria:
Excellent Leadership skills &Project/ Program Management skills.
Excellent track record of working in SAP QM module with a minimum of 12+ years of functional experience. Implementation, rollout and support experience on SAP Projects, preferred.
Experience in setting-up & managing operations teams
Business / affairs Management
Ability to engage and motivate people
Experience in building new teams, experience in defining the road maps in the domain of ERP
Expert in SAP QM Functional experience
Experience in delivering applications/projects
Experience in providing support to the team during challenging situations.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
Professional Networking skills.
Agile/ SAFe principle and Service Management best practices
Knowledge in Aerospace domain
Quality management System awareness is desirable
Primary responsibilities
1/ Conduct People Management activities for Airbus India employees:
Manage all below responsibilities in coordination with the functional manager of the employee and within the respect of Airbus value.
Manage the recruitment process in coordination with Human Resources Team
Manage work timing schedules, hybrid policies, job rotation and vacations of the team located in India.
Ensure that performance management and development processes are done with the right training program.
Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when it s required.
Ensure People development and wellbeing
Help the team identify their appropriate career path & develop competencies of the Team and prepare for future competencies
Coach, mentor, provide oversight and direction to the team accordance with the organizations policies and procedures
Develop the team to take the delegation and empower them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organizations goal and objectives
Maintain transparent and appropriate communication within the team
Ensure fruitful and efficient collaboration with PSL/Product
Provide solutions and recommendations for complex issues to enable best in class deliverables.
Ensure individual support when requested to support individual matters
Encourage and promote local best practices and continuous improvement ideas Act as a local relay for the Product/ PSL manager:
Ensure integration with the Product/PSL team
Ensure alignment between deliveries and expectations
Ability to contribute in strategic initiatives of the organization
Ability to increase the scope of activities for the India team. Ability to bring in multiple roles and responsibilities to Indian teams.
Ensure global coordination within the team
Ensure communications and alignment with senior management and stakeholders Responsible for the reporting and monitoring of Airbus India budget of the perimeter. (local team capacity planning and monitoring, including travels and local budget/time management specificities).
Local to local activities management with respect to Vendor Management etc.
