As a Director at CDGi, you will play a crucial role in leading the successful transformation of the institute into a full-fledged university. Your reputation, track record, and public identity will be key in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring academic excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to establish the institute as a prominent Brand in the higher education sector. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a strategic roadmap for university transformation, driving change initiatives to enhance academic outcomes and institutional capabilities, and positioning the institution as a leader in the higher education sector through external benchmarking and horizon scanning. You will oversee curriculum development, teaching standards, and assessment practices to meet quality benchmarks and accreditation standards at the university level. Additionally, you will promote pedagogic and technological innovation across all programs and expand offerings in postgraduate, research, and lifelong learning. Building strong relationships with academic and administrative staff, students, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies will be essential. You will effectively communicate the vision and progress of transformation initiatives to internal and external audiences. Managing university transformation projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget, and stakeholder satisfaction will be part of your role. You will also focus on upgrading operational structures and promoting quality assurance across services and programs to ensure compliance with statutory bodies and regulations. Leading, supporting, and coaching staff through the transformation process and identifying emerging talent will be crucial. Developing training, professional development, and succession planning strategies for faculty and staff will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have an advanced degree in Education, Leadership, or a related field, along with 15+ years of progressive experience in academic leadership. A deep understanding of higher education policy, accreditation, and quality assurance is required, as well as proven ability to lead organizational change and large-scale projects. Exceptional communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills are essential for success in this position.
