About the Role

Group Creative Director (GCD)

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership

  • Define and drive the overall creative vision across multiple accounts, ensuring innovation, consistency, and quality.
  • Oversee and mentor Creative Directors, Associate Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers, and Strategists.
  • Champion big ideas that push creative boundaries while remaining strategically sound and aligned with client objectives.
  • Client Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, presenting creative ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • Translate business goals into breakthrough creative solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by demonstrating thought leadership and creative excellence.
  • Team Development & Collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive creative culture that encourages experimentation and idea generation.
  • Recruit, nurture, and develop top creative talent, building teams that can deliver across multiple media and platforms.
  • Partner closely with Strategy, Account Management, and Media teams to deliver integrated, cross-channel campaigns.
  • Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee multiple projects from concept through execution, ensuring work is on brief, on brand, and on time.
  • Uphold the highest creative standards, setting the bar for design, copy, and storytelling.
  • Ensure creative solutions are scalable, digital-first, and relevant across platforms.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within advertising, marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of delivering award-winning, effective campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, experiential, TV/film, print, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident working with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of culture, trends, and technology shaping the creative and media landscape.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance creativity and commercial impact.
