GRC Consultant

Job Title: Consultant – Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

Location: Gurugram

Job Purpose:

The Consultant – GRC is responsible for assessing and improving process efficiency and maturity across the company. The role involves conducting process audits, implementing internal controls, ensuring risk and compliance management, and reporting independently to leadership. This is a high-impact role requiring experience with internal audits, corporate governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Audits: Plan, perform, and supervise audits across all company functions and locations to identify inefficiencies and operational gaps. Recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and group norms.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Define KPIs and tracking systems to measure the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Internal Control & Delegation of Authority (DOA): Design, implement, and assess internal controls and DOA frameworks. Identify areas of non-compliance and mitigate risks.
• External Partner Management: Identify, evaluate, and monitor external partners for process assurance and compliance. Review reports and ensure closure of findings.
• Best Practice Implementation: Benchmark industry standards and collaborate with Group GRC teams to adopt best practices across the organization.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to frameworks related to Risk, Compliance, Internal Financial Controls (IFC), and Vigil Mechanisms. Submit quarterly reports to ACOM and leadership teams.
• Independent Reporting: Report critical audit and compliance issues directly to ACOM and Group Leadership on a timely basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in B.Tech / BCA / MCA from a reputed university with a strong academic background.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years in governance, audit, compliance, or risk functions in reputed Indian or multinational companies or consulting firms.
• Industry Exposure: Preference for candidates with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or trading sectors.
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of internal audit, risk management, corporate governance, fraud investigations, IFC, and SAP ERP.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
