GRC Consultant

Responsibilities

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT GRC Manager to lead our Governance Risk and Compliance initiatives The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT GRC strategies ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing risk across the organization This role requires a deep understanding of IT governance frameworks risk management practices and compliance standardsKey ResponsibilitiesGovernanceDevelop and maintain IT governance frameworks policies and proceduresEnsure alignment of IT strategies with business objectivesOversee the implementation of IT governance initiatives and monitor their effectivenessRisk ManagementIdentify assess and manage IT risks across the organizationDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategiesConduct regular risk assessments in according with NIST standard and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standardsComplianceEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements eg GDPR HIPAA SOXDevelop and maintain compliance documentation and reportsCoordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate compliance auditsLeadershipLead and mentor a team of IT GRC professionalsCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to promote a culture of risk awareness and complianceProvide regular updates to senior management on IT GRC activities and initiatives

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks eg COBIT ITILExperience with regulatory compliance standards eg GDPR HIPAA SOXExcellent analytical problemsolving and communication skillsRelevant certifications eg CISA CRISC CISM are a plus

Skills

Strong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teamsProficiency in risk assessment and management toolsExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
