Greek Alphabet Media is a marketing & advertising agency. We generally work with brands in D2C, FMCG, and less glamorous sectors (ex: Printing. Duh, whoever works in that) and help them make a dent through their content & marketing efforts.
As a part of our team, you’d be working with an assortment of brands in segments like coffee, non-alcoholic beers, cocktail mixers, energy drinks, cycles, food packaging, dairy, and more. Clearly, you must’ve figured out that we’re into food & drinks, and our love extends beyond client briefs.

Overview:
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. You will work & learn along with our team to produce high-quality work.
In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you.

Role and Associated Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and concepts
- Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
- Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners, interfaces)
- Pitch creative ideas
- Collaborate with team members to launch projects
- Take on special design tasks (e.g. color correction)
- Use feedback and instructions from other senior designers to improve
Requirements
- Expertise in Graphics, Graphic Design, Logo Design, and Branding skills in Typography
- 1-2 Years (Min) of Experience in Branding and packaging, Social Media creatives, and marketing & print materials.
- Ability to work with Typography
- Prior work experience in advertising or creative agencies is a must.
- The candidate is to use their own laptop. This is mandatory.
- Maintaining an established work schedule.
- Creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively managing tight deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail, follow through, and adherence to various client brand standards.
- Effectively using self-discipline and initiative to work both independently and in teams, budgeting time, and meeting deadlines and production schedules. - Effectively using initiative to stay updated on the latest trends and practices in marketing & graphic design.

Responsibilities (in-depth):
- Create visually appealing graphics for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials such as emailers, flyers, posters, digital e-banners, infographics, WhatsApp creatives, etc
- Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability, readers’ needs, visual designs, mock-ups, presentations, and basic renders.
- Research and review past projects, associated artists, and styles and provide graphic design and art direction inputs for potential projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Digital Media Design
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of static graphics and video editing work.
- Have a deeper understanding of platforms (like social media) and placements (from Instagram and emailers to Spotify and website Banners, and more) and content strategies. Contribute to the creation of content that resonates with our target audience.
- Manage your time efficiently to meet project deadlines. Prioritize tasks and work towards delivering high-quality content within set timeframes.
Logo Design, Brand Design & Packaging
- Brand Ideation, visualization, and designing according to the creative brief.
- Design brand identity and high-end packaging that is in tune with the product and business objectives
- Design marketing collateral, brand & product campaigns, and webpages.
- Work on creative concepts to communicate the brand & product to the target audience visually.
- Ensure that multimedia content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
Designing for Print
- Understanding of Print formats, margins & alignments, layouts, packaging materials (matte, gloss, textured, etc), knowledge of color palettes, usage & application of Pantone.
- Ability to understand and create KLDs (Key Line Diagrams) for packaging and media assets.
- Coordinating with external printers or production teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.
- Creating visually appealing & relevant designs for the Target Audience in adherence with the placement/consumption of the print media created.
Red Flags - This role & and you may not be a good fit if you’re:
- Not curious and keen about asking questions
- Not expressive and vocal about your opinion
- Always ‘doing-exactly-as-you’re-told’, even if the instructions are illogical
- Focused on doing just the bare minimum every time
- Not interested in expressing your ideas in team discussions
- A ‘perfectionist’ and it gets in the way of you delivering good work or taking feedback
Green Flags - Things that are important to us:
- Empathy - Be empathetic towards the end-users, your team-mates, your clients, your vendors (not an exhaustive list). Be open to understanding their struggles & reservations. The better we understand what motivates people, the better work we can do.
- You should be social media savvy - This means that you log onto your preferred social media platforms (IG, Twitter (X), etc) every day, consume content, even publish your 2 cents, and should be bombarding us with content that you vibe with.
- You should be excited about sharing photos/videos/stories about good and bad content & advertisements you see on digital, print, OTT, radio, etc.
- Communication - We prefer clear & honest communication. It’s okay to miss deadlines. But, it’s not okay to switch off your phone if we’re trying to reach you for a status check.
- Attention to Detail - We like people who can identify the minutest details associated with things. You’ll get brownie points if you tell us you read this buried-in-the-fine-print point.
- Sense of Ownership - When you take up a task, you give it your best shot and take responsibility for whatever happens with it. You’ll make mistakes, and that’s perfectly okay. Being accountable for the same is important.
- Sharing Your Thoughts - We’d prefer to hear frequently from you on the challenges you’re facing and how we can help you excel. We can’t read minds and need your feedback to understand how we can as a team do better.
- Making New Mistakes & Learning from Them - No one knows everything (especially not us) and it’s perfectly fine to make mistakes. However, once you’ve made a mistake and received feedback, we expect that you won’t make the same mistake again and again.
Hiring Process -
- 1st Round - If your profile is shortlisted, we’ll send a questionnaire for you to fill. Basis the responses, candidates would be shortlisted for the next round.
- 2nd Round - If you clear the 1st round, we’ll need you to attempt a test assignment.
- 3rd Round - Basis your submission in the test assignment, we’ll have a final round of interview & discussion.
