Role Description:Apparel Resources is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their creative team in New Delhi for a full-time, on-site role. The Senior Graphic Designer will primarily focus on layout creation for magazines, crafting visually captivating magazine spreads and editorial layouts that align with the company’s editorial voice and brand identity. The role will involve designing, conceptualising, and executing magazine layouts, as well as working on typography, branding, and visual elements for both print, digital media & events. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design aesthetics, strong expertise in magazine layout creation, and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.Key Responsibilities:Create branding materials, logos, and other visual assets as needed for digital and print projects as well as for events.Design and layout creation for magazines, ensuring visually engaging and reader-friendlyspreads.Develop editorial layouts that reflect the brand’s identity, style guide, and editorial content.Collaborate with the editorial team to integrate text, images, and other media into cohesive magazine layouts.Focuson typography, visual hierarchy, and color schemes to enhance the readability and appeal of editorial designs.Workon designing covers, feature spreads, advertisements, and other printed materials.Maintain consistency in design across multiple magazine issues, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional and branding materials that complement magazine designs.Contribute to the creative development of design concepts for print and digital platforms.Ensure that all designs are print-ready and meet production specifications for magazines and other printed publications.Qualifications:Provengraphic designskills with a strong focus on social media content creation.Expertise inlogo design,branding, andtypography.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, particularlymagazine layoutsor editorial work.Proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with an emphasis on InDesign for layout design.Ability to createvisually appealing designsthat are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.Experience working onprint, digital media & eventsand familiarity with print production processes.Excellent communicationskills for collaborating with editorial and creative teams.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degreein Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.Previous experience in thefashion or mediaindustry is a plus.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for editorial design and layout creation, with a deep understanding of how visual elements enhance storytelling in print publications. They will be proficient in InDesign and other graphic design tools, able to work efficiently in a team, and have the ability to manage multiple design projects while maintaining a high standard of creativity and attention to detail.
