Job Title: Grafana Dashboard Specialist Total Experience Required: 8+ Years Relevant Experience: 8+ Years Work Location: Pune / Chennai / Chandigarh / Bangalore Working Mode: Work From Office (WFO) Shift Timings: EMEA/NAM Shift Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Dashboard Development: Design and build robust Grafana dashboards to deliver actionable insights for monitoring complex production environments. Collaboration & Metrics Identification: Work closely with technology and management teams to identify key metrics and ensure effective visualization. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sourcesSplunk, AppDynamics, microservices, Spark, Jira, and ServiceNow—into Grafana for real-time monitoring and alerting. SPL Query Development: Write and optimize SPL queries within Grafana to extract, manipulate, and visualize relevant data from Splunk. Log Aggregation & Insights: Utilize log aggregation and analysis to drive actionable insights from large datasets. Custom Scripting: Develop custom Unix/Python scripts to automate data retrieval and processing, feeding into Grafana dashboards. Operational Reporting: Create dashboards in Jira and ServiceNow for enhanced visibility and reporting of operational KPIs. Production Support: Troubleshoot dashboard performance issues and ensure accuracy, supporting the overall production monitoring ecosystem. Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant experience in Grafana dashboard development and production support monitoring. Strong expertise in Grafana and Splunk, with proficiency in writing and optimizing SPL queries. In-depth knowledge of AppDynamics, microservices architecture, and Apache Spark. Advanced scripting abilities using Unix and Python. Proven experience in log aggregation and transforming raw logs into meaningful business and technical metrics. Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow for operational dashboards and reporting. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and management stakeholders.
