Grafana Dashboard Specialist

You will be responsible for designing and developing Grafana dashboards that offer clear and actionable insights for end-to-end monitoring. Your role will involve collaborating with technology and management teams to identify key metrics and ensuring their effective representation on the dashboards. Utilizing Splunk to fetch and manipulate data, you will write SPL queries in Grafana to extract meaningful information. Integrating data from various sources such as AppDynamics, microservices, Spark, Jira, and ServiceNow into Grafana for real-time monitoring and alerting will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will leverage log aggregation and analysis to derive insights from logs and present them as meaningful metrics on Grafana dashboards. Developing custom Unix/Python scripts to automate the retrieval of logs and other data, feeding this information into Grafana will also be part of your tasks. You will create and manage dashboards in Jira and ServiceNow for enhanced tracking and reporting of key metrics. Supporting the production environment by troubleshooting and optimizing dashboards for performance and accuracy will also fall under your purview. Qualifications: - Proven experience in creating and managing Grafana dashboards for monitoring complex systems. - Strong knowledge of production support monitoring and experience in identifying critical metrics for monitoring and reporting. - Hands-on experience with Splunk, including writing and optimizing SPL queries within Grafana. - Proficiency with AppDynamics, microservices architecture, Apache Spark, Jira, and ServiceNow. - Strong Unix and Python scripting skills for developing custom solutions to fetch and process logs. - Experience in log aggregation, analysis, and creating actionable insights from large data sets. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. - Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical teams and management.
