Graduate Engineering Trainee

Graduate engineer trainees assist senior engineers in various tasks like design, development, testing, and project support, with responsibilities including conducting research, analyzing data, preparing reports, and learning company processes and safety standards. They collaborate with teams, attend meetings, and help with project coordination from planning to implementation.   Core responsibilities Project support: Assist senior engineers with project planning, design, development, and testing across different technologies and products.  Data analysis and research: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support project goals, find process improvements, and perform failure analysis.  Documentation and reporting: Compile technical documentation, create reports, and maintain project databases.  Team collaboration: Participate in team meetings, contribute to project planning, and coordinate with other departments.  Learning and development: Learn technical aspects of the company's products and processes, and adhere to safety standards.  Common tasks Perform CAD modeling or create blueprints. Conduct root cause analysis of system issues. Translate client requirements into system designs. Help with the implementation of process improvements. Shadow staff and travel to gain practical experience in different work zones.  Key skills and requirements Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
