Job description: Java Spring Boot Developer

A Java developer is a specialized programmer who collaborates (working with two or more people) with software engineers and web developers to integrate Java into applications, software, and websites. He/she is responsible for developing a robust code that can be easily integrated with the larger systems. Hence, he/she plays a vital role in the software development life cycle. He/she serves many duties (from designing to testing) during the software development such as design, development, and management of Java-based applications.

Qualifications

Experience:0-2 years of experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B. Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields (2024-2025 pass-outs preferred).

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop and maintain modules in a multi-tier micro-services architecture Java backend application using Spring Boot and related technologies.

· Support front-end teams (Mobile App and Web Application) by providing a scalable Rest API layer as per the established architecture.

· Connect with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Firebase databases to maintain relational, text, geolocation, notification, and image data.

· Work on the Integration layers to ensure all data in partner systems is in sync and referentially intact.

· Work with the team to develop and maintain a system utilizing cutting edge technologies, modern cloud-based system architecture, and AI techniques.

Skills:

· Excellent Java 11, Spring and related technologies including JPA, Rest APIs, Design Patterns, Async messaging/Queuing, etc is required.

· Experience working with Maven, Spring Boot, and IntelliJ IDE is required.

· Working on high-volume web application backends using both SQL and no-SQL databases is highly desired.

· Exposure in working in GCP cloud platforms and DevOps familiarity highly desired.

· Understanding of security, roles and data driven authorizations, vulnerabilities and remediation techniques in modern web applications and ability to handle multi-system tokens, SSO etc is desired.

· Data/Schema modelling experience with query tuning, handling raw SQL and stored procedures is desired but not required.

· At least a year of exposure working in Fintech industry is a must
