Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team, with a strong focus on the B2G (Business-to-Government) segment. In this role, you will lead efforts in government liaising, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our air quality monitoring solutions across public sector initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive business growth through relationships with government agencies, think tanks, NGOs, academic institutions, and CSR/philanthropic organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business development in the

  B2G

  segment, building partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, think tanks, and CSR/philanthropy programs.
• Liaise with

  pollution control boards, environment departments, ULBs

  , and urban development bodies to promote Airveda’s solutions and manage empanelment.
• Manage

  GEM tenders, bids, and compliance documentation

  for government projects.
• Stay abreast of regulations and programs such as

  NCAP

  , Smart Cities, and sensor mandates to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop concept notes, proposals, and project plans for initiatives like low-cost sensor networks, data analytics projects, and public awareness campaigns.
• Represent Airveda at relevant government, policy, and industry events to build relationships and enhance visibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project planning, donor management, and integration of air quality solutions into broader sustainability programs.
• Contribute to thought leadership, policy advocacy, and whitepapers with think tanks and institutional partners.

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in

  Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or related field

  .

• 2–4 years’ experience

  in government liaison, business development, or environmental consulting—preferably in air quality or climate sectors.
• Strong understanding of India’s air quality regulations and government programs (e.g., NCAP, NAMP).
• Experience handling

  GEM tenders, empanelments

  , and institutional partnerships.
• Excellent

  communication, networking, and proposal-writing skills

  .
• Knowledge of

  air quality data, IoT systems, or environmental analytics

  preferred.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
