Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati for a Gold Loan Auditor. The Gold Loan Auditor will oversee the audit of gold loan operations to ensure adherence to company policies, compliance with regulatory standards, and accuracy in transaction procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting branch audits, verifying gold loan documentation, assessing operational practices, preparing audit reports, and identifying improvement areas. The role involves interaction with branch teams to ensure best practices and safeguard against risks.

Qualifications

• Audit and Compliance knowledge, with experience in loan or financial operations audit being an advantage
• Proficiency in Documentation Verification and Record Keeping
• Analytical and Risk Assessment skills to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to interact with branch teams effectively
• Knowledge of Gold Loan Procedures or experience in the gold finance sector is beneficial
• Degree in Commerce, Finance, or related subject; relevant certifications in audit or compliance are a bonus
• Comfortable working in a dynamic on-site branch environment
