Job Title: Gold AppraiserJob Summary

The Gold Appraiser is responsible for generating gold loan business, building customer relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role involves field visits, customer acquisition, verification of gold ornaments, and ensuring smooth loan processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

Generate new leads and convert them into gold loan customers.Conduct field visits, cold calls, and follow-ups to drive business.Achieve monthly and qurterly sales targets.Promote gold loan products to walk-in and existing customers.

2. Customer Service

Provide detailed product information, interest rates, tenure, and process.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with quick service.Resolve customer queries and ensure smooth loan disbursement.

3. Operations & Compliance

Assist in preliminary gold purity checking.Coordinate with branch staff for valuation and documentation.Ensure KYC compliance, accurate documentation, and safe handling of gold.Follow company policies and RBI guidelines related to gold loans.

4. Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with local customers, traders, and business partners.Regularly follow up with customers for repayment, renewals, or top-ups.

Required Qualifications

Education: Minimum Graduate degree in any disciplineExperience: Minimum 1 year experience in gold loan sales / banking / NBFC

Good communication & convincing skillsBasic knowledge of gold loan processAbility to meet sales targetsCustomer service orientationTwo-wheeler preferred (for field visits)
