Job Description

Job Summary

Lead the India Sales & Marketing team to achieve the revenue and operational goals aligned with corporate strategy. Drive a high-performance culture, build key stakeholder relationships, and deliver impactful go-to-market (GTM) strategies to capture market potential, with a focus on the Infant Nutrition category.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute country-wide sales plans aligned with business objectives.
  2. Lead sales team operations, including team management, KOL engagement, CRM, budgeting, forecasting, and goal setting.
  3. Build a culture of accountability and high performance within the sales organization.
  4. Identify, develop, and manage talent through effective performance management, development planning, and succession strategies.
  5. Build strong corporate and key account relationships to drive sales plans.
  6. Uphold high ethical standards, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, industry codes, and internal policies.
  7. Design and monitor effective sales incentive plans to optimize performance.
  8. Develop and execute category-specific GTM strategies including new product launches based on market and competitive analysis.
  9. Engage with industry bodies, distributors, and hospital management to secure favourable business outcomes.
  10. Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Digital teams to create synergies.
  11. Drive HCP engagement through advisory boards and consensus meetings to promote innovative concepts.
  12. Partner with key accounts to generate medical evidence and claims for portfolio development and brand competitiveness.

  1. Deep understanding of Indias healthcare environment, particularly the Infant Nutrition category.
  2. Proven leadership, communication, and management skills in a global matrix organization.
  3. Strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  4. Familiarity with relevant SOPs and compliance requirements.
  5. Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking to drive business growth.
  6. Expertise in sales planning, monitoring, and CRM.
  7. Strong skills in people management, coaching, and sales development.
  8. Ability to enhance sales force excellence and productivity.
  9. Excellent communication skills through the medium of English, Hindi and Regional Languages.
