You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, quality assurance, and finance, to develop, implement, and continuously improve vendor management processes. Key responsibilities include evaluating vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement, and leading initiatives to enhance vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement global vendor management processes that support business objectives. - Conduct regular assessments of vendor performance and compliance. - Collaborate with regional teams to standardize vendor processes and practices. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within vendor operations. - Manage vendor-related risks and ensure compliance with internal controls. - Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and escalations. - Provide training and support to internal teams on vendor management best practices. - Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform process improvements. Skills and Tools Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors. - Project management skills to successfully lead initiatives and manage multiple priorities. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for performance metrics tracking (e.g., Excel, Tableau). - Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes. - Knowledge of vendor management software and tools. - Ability to think strategically and align vendor practices with business goals. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Experience in vendor management or procurement roles, preferably in a global setting. - Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Supply Chain Management (APICS) is a plus.
