Global Macroeconomics & Investment Research

Vallum Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd. is a SEBI-registered Portfolio Management firm managing close to ₹1,500 crore in Indian equity markets. We are looking for a passionate and driven Equity Research Intern to join our Investment Team at our Mumbai office.

We are inviting applications for an Internship in Global Macroeconomics & Investment Research. This role is designed for candidates who already have exposure to macroeconomics and financial markets, and who are eager to deepen their expertise in a professional investment environment.

Role Overview

The intern will work closely with the Fund Manager on Macroeconomic Research and Investment Strategy. The role requires analyzing global data, identifying key economic and policy trends, and translating insights into actionable investment inputs. Candidates must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and prior exposure to research in economics or markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide research support for investment hypotheses and portfolio decisions, particularly in global ETFs.
• Analyze macroeconomic and policy reports from institutions such as the IMF, World Bank, UNDP, and NITI Aayog.
• Identify macroeconomic, social, and geopolitical trends relevant to global financial markets.
• Synthesize complex data into concise research notes and presentations.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s (final year) or Master’s in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related fields.
• Prior academic projects, dissertations, or internships in macroeconomics, policy research, or investments.
• Familiarity with global markets, ETFs, and macroeconomic frameworks.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
• Demonstrated passion for Macroeconomics, Global Markets, and Financial Research.
• Independent thinker with intellectual curiosity and strong communication skills.
