Global Macroeconomics & Investment Research

You will be joining Vallum Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd., a SEBI-registered Portfolio Management firm managing close to 1,500 crore in Indian equity markets, as an Equity Research Intern at their Mumbai office. As an Intern in Global Macroeconomics & Investment Research, you will work closely with the Fund Manager on Macroeconomic Research and Investment Strategy. Your role will involve analyzing global data, identifying key economic and policy trends, and translating insights into actionable investment inputs. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and prior exposure to research in economics or markets. Key Responsibilities: - Provide research support for investment hypotheses and portfolio decisions, particularly in global ETFs. - Analyze macroeconomic and policy reports from institutions such as the IMF, World Bank, UNDP, and NITI Aayog. - Identify macroeconomic, social, and geopolitical trends relevant to global financial markets. - Synthesize complex data into concise research notes and presentations. Eligibility: - Pursuing or recently completed Bachelors (final year) or Masters in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related fields. - Prior academic projects, dissertations, or internships in macroeconomics, policy research, or investments. - Familiarity with global markets, ETFs, and macroeconomic frameworks. If you possess strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data, along with a demonstrated passion for Macroeconomics, Global Markets, and Financial Research, this internship is for you. You should be an independent thinker with intellectual curiosity and strong communication skills. The internship will be based in Mumbai, with a duration of 6 months on a full-time basis and in-office mode. A stipend will be provided for this internship opportunity.
