Role Summary

An experienced Core GIS Developer in Gurgaon specializing in ArcGIS Pro,

ModelBuilder, and advanced geospatial automation. The ideal candidate will also have

experience with open source WebGIS technologies such as QGIS and GeoServer,

enabling robust spatial solutions for diverse market planning and analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities

 Design and automate GIS data pipelines using ArcGIS Pro ModelBuilder and

arcpy for large categorized spatial datasets.

 Build and manage workflows for importing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial

data from sources including CSV, shapefiles, Snowflake, and geodatabases.

 Develop scalable geoprocessing operations (spatial join, grid segmentation,

attribute calculations) for detailed market planning.

 Support publishing, sharing, and integration of spatial data via open source

platforms such as QGIS and GeoServer.

 Document processes; generate user guides and training materials for team and

client use.

 Collaborate with analysts, business partners, and data providers in an agile

environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 3+ years hands-on with ArcGIS Pro, ModelBuilder, and arcpy scripting.

 Strong Python skills, especially for geospatial automation and ArcPy scripting.

 Proficient in spatial data formats, geodatabases, and advanced spatial analysis.

 Experience integrating cloud-based data (Snowflake, cloud warehouses) into GIS

workflows.

 Remote work discipline; strong troubleshooting and self-management abilities.

Preferred

 Working experience with open source GIS tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS for

desktop workflows and GeoServer for spatial data publishing or OGC services.

 Familiarity with Site suitability , Site selection and Grid based approach , spatial

and statistical analytics, or multi-city data processing.

 Skills in developing custom GIS tools, plugins, or UI add-ins (ESRI SDK, QGIS

plugins).
