We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior GIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) principles, coupled with expertise in web development technologies. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining GIS applications, leveraging modern web frameworks and tools. Required Skills:

• GIS Fundamentals:Strong understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) principles and concepts.
• Expertise in spatial data management, map projections, and coordinate systems.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and libraries, including Leaflet, ArcGIS, or Mapbox.
• Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON).
• Web Development Skills:Proficiency in JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or similar frameworks.

Desired Skills:

• Server-Side Development:Familiarity with server-side languages like Node.js or Python.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Database Management:Knowledge of spatial databases such as PostGIS or experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• DevOps and Cloud Technologies:Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
