About the Role

GIS Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GIS applications and solutions.
• Work with spatial databases, geospatial data models, and map services.
• Develop custom GIS tools, scripts, and workflows using Python/JavaScript.
• Integrate GIS solutions with other enterprise applications.
• Conduct spatial analysis and data visualization for project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deliverables.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability of GIS applications.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, or related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in GIS development.
• Strong knowledge of

  ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoServer, PostGIS, OpenLayers, Leaflet, or Mapbox

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs

  for GIS applications.
• Experience with spatial data management and analysis.
• Familiarity with government project workflows (preferred).
