General Manager - Projects

As an experienced industrial strategy professional, your role will involve providing strategic inputs to the cluster in alignment with Global Supply Chain Transformation (GSC-T), Line of Business (LoB), and GSC India management team. You will be responsible for contributing to and driving the Long Term Industrial Plans (LTIP) for plants within the Cluster. Additionally, you will identify, prepare, and lead the rebalancing program for the plants, focusing on localization, manufacturing transfer projects, and regionalization. Your role will also involve driving non-purchasing productivity using levers such as localization, transfers, QVE, and subcontracting. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in challenging and enhancing the industrial performance of all plants within the cluster through effective project management and localization projects. Moreover, you will oversee a team of industrial cross-functional leaders in projects related to new development, regionalization, and feasibility studies. While being based in Bangalore, you will also be required to travel to vendors and factories as needed. Your knowledge of industrialization fields, manufacturing processes, purchasing, finance, and quality management systems will be crucial. Additionally, your ability to lead strategic projects, conduct feasibility studies, and make data-driven decisions will drive success in this position. Your attitude and behavioral skills, such as being a good team player, open-minded, creative, self-motivated, and result-oriented, align well with the requirements for this role.
