Role Overview

strategic and operational head

Key Responsibilities:


Wedding & Banquet Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of

    destination weddings and banquets

    , from sales closure to flawless delivery.
  • Liaise with wedding planners, decorators, caterers, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Maintain high standards in banquet setup, décor, F&B service, and event flow.
  • Build strategic tie-ups with wedding aggregators, travel agents, and event companies.
  • Create unique wedding packages and banquet offerings to drive revenue.


Business Development & Sales

  • Drive leads and conversions for

    destination weddings, MICE, and social events

    .
  • Develop relationships with

    corporates, travel agents, and wedding planners

    for repeat business.
  • Monitor competition and position the palace as the

    go-to premium wedding venue

    .
  • Achieve occupancy, ARR, and banquet sales targets in line with company goals.


Operational Excellence

  • Oversee

    rooms, banquets, F&B, and guest services

    , ensuring smooth coordination during weddings and large events.
  • Ensure

    seamless guest experiences

    with personalized hospitality.
  • Maintain brand standards, compliance, and service quality at all times.


Financial Management

  • Own the P&L with special focus on

    banquet and event profitability

    .
  • Forecast revenues, control costs, and optimize margins for weddings and events.
  • Present monthly reviews on banquet/wedding performance to management.


Team Leadership & Training

  • Build and mentor a team specialized in

    wedding sales, banquet operations, and guest services

    .
  • Conduct staff training for

    event handling, service standards, and guest experience

    .
  • Instill accountability, ownership, and high performance within the team.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • 10–15 years of progressive hospitality experience

    , with strong exposure to

    Destination Weddings, Banquet Sales & Operations

    .
  • Proven track record in managing

    large-scale weddings, social events, and MICE

    at premium hotels/resorts.
  • Excellent client-handling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in banquet P&L management.
  • Dynamic leadership with the ability to handle high-pressure wedding/event operations.
