General Manager

As a General Manager for Feldspar Minerals (Procurement, Sales & Factory Operations) in Pindwara, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete operations of our feldspar mineral business. Your role will involve strategic procurement, sales & marketing of both raw and processed materials, as well as full management of factory operations. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the minerals or mining industry, preferably with a focus on feldspar or similar industrial minerals. A B.Sc./M.Sc. in Geology, Mining, or related fields is required, while an MBA would be considered a plus. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Procurement: Identifying and developing reliable sources of feldspar raw material from mines. Negotiating procurement contracts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. Coordinating with geology and quality control teams for material assessments. - Sales & Marketing: Developing and executing sales strategies to expand domestic and export markets. Building and managing relationships with buyers in ceramics, glass, and other feldspar-consuming industries. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adjust pricing and marketing strategies. - Factory & Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations of the processing plant to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality. Coordinating production planning based on market demand and raw material availability. Implementing cost-effective operational procedures while upholding product standards. Ensuring compliance with environmental and labor regulations. - Financial & Strategic Planning: Preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing continuous improvement plans. Reporting operational and financial performance to top management. - Team Leadership & Development: Leading and mentoring procurement, sales, and factory teams. Building a culture of accountability, safety, and performance. Coordinating interdepartmental communication and collaboration. Key Requirements: - Proven experience in mineral procurement, sales, and factory operations. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. - Knowledge of industrial mineral markets, especially feldspar. - Ability to travel frequently to mines, customer sites, and factory locations. - Excellent communication skills in English and local languages (as applicable). Preferred qualifications include an existing network of buyers in ceramics, glass, and paints industry, an understanding of quality parameters specific to feldspar, and familiarity with export logistics and international trade compliance. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as Provident Fund. The work schedule involves day shifts with weekend availability. The ability to commute/relocate to Pindwara, Rajasthan is required, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is preferred. The work location is in person.,
