General Manager Edutech

As the General Manager Edutech, your primary role will be to serve as the strategic leader and Head of the Educational Institute. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative courses, overseeing nationwide sales and operations, and driving educational excellence through the integration of advanced technology. Your main goal will be to align academic quality with operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging EdTech platforms, digital classrooms, and blended learning models, you will lead the organization's growth trajectory and ensure impactful outcomes for students, faculty, and stakeholders. - Develop and implement the institute's vision, mission, and long-term strategic plan. - Identify growth opportunities, including new courses, online programs, collaborations, and partnerships. - Ensure curriculum remains contemporary, industry-aligned, and incorporates cutting-edge technological tools. - Oversee faculty recruitment, professional development, and performance management. - Establish quality assurance protocols for academic delivery and student support services. - Promote an innovative, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment. - Manage day-to-day operations including admissions, facilities, IT infrastructure, and administrative support. - Implement robust governance policies, reporting mechanisms, and compliance frameworks. - Ensure adherence to educational regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices. - Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets, financial planning, and P&L responsibilities. - Drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and enhance revenue streams. - Explore new funding avenues, sponsorships, and strategic alliances for sustainable growth. - Cultivate strong relationships with parents, students, faculty, industry partners, and regulatory bodies. - Represent the institute at external events, academic forums, and industry conferences. - Act as the primary spokesperson for the institute, enhancing its reputation and visibility. - Lead the adoption and integration of EdTech tools such as LMS, AI-based assessments, smart classrooms, and digital platforms. - Continuously explore emerging technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency. - Spearhead digital transformation initiatives including hybrid programs, online certifications, and virtual classrooms. - Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, Technology, or related fields; Masters degree or MBA preferred. - Minimum 12-18 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity within education or EdTech sectors. - Proven track record in institutional management, academic leadership, and P&L oversight. - In-depth knowledge of educational regulations, accreditation processes, and EdTech tools.
